Astragraphia Celebrates 50 Years with Education and Health CSR Programs at SMKN 1 Palembang

To commemorate the company's 50th anniversary, PT Astra Graphia Tbk (Astragraphia) held a two-day Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event for the Education and Health pillars, April 7-8, 2026, at SMK Negeri 1 Palembang.

On the first day, Astragraphia's Education CSR program featured the Competence Aid Program (CAP), which provided design education materials directly from industry practitioners. Dion Rahadian, a designer at PT Astra Graphia Tbk, presented a presentation to Visual Communication Design (DKV) students on the creative design process, from the design stage to the final output.

Branch Manager of PT Astra Graphia Tbk, Palembang Branch, Andri Kusmayadi, stated that the Competence Aid Program (CAP) is a form of Astragraphia's social responsibility towards Indonesian education.

"One of our four CSR pillars is education. As a company engaged in digital printing and solutions, we strive to provide the best service to our customers, while also providing training to the surrounding community, especially students at vocational high schools," he said.

He explained that the CAP training is aimed at vocational high school students to prepare them for entering the workforce and prepare them for careers in the creative industry.

He highlighted the importance of technology in supporting businesses in the digital era. He stated that design and technology trends continue to advance, necessitating devices that can keep pace with industry needs.

He explained that one of the supporting technologies is the FUJIFILM printer, which can print up to 120 A3 sheets per minute. "This technology not only speeds up the production process but also ensures optimal print quality.

On the second day, students at SMK Negeri 1 Palembang also received mental health education on the theme "Stop Overthinking: Healthy Mentality, Great Achievement." The presentation featured Dr. Diyaz Syauki Ikhsan, Sp.Kj from Pertamina Hospital, Palembang, who discussed the importance of mental health, how to manage overthinking, and strategies for dealing with stress to remain productive. This is the first time Astragraphia has addressed mental health as a form of its commitment to the younger generation.

Raden Ayu Cintami, a participant in the education program, said the activity was very beneficial for the students. She said that on the first day, participants received direct instruction on appropriate design and the use of appropriate software. "This activity is excellent because we gain firsthand experience in the industry. After graduating from vocational school, we are more focused in making decisions about whether to continue on to college or work according to our abilities," she said.
