AGIT's Contribution to National Resilience Through the CAP Program

The massive digital transformation across various fields has made data security crucial, especially since data security, in general, impacts national resilience. Unfortunately, Indonesia's National Cyber Security Index (NCSI) score has actually declined. The NCSI is a global index that measures countries' readiness to prevent cyber threats and manage cyber incidents. According to a report from teknologi.bisnis.com, in 2023, Indonesia ranked 48th with an NCSI score of 63.64 points. However, in 2025, Indonesia dropped to 84th with an NCSI score of 47.50 points, trailing Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines.

Stakeholder awareness, including that of the government and the private sector, is needed to improve Indonesia's NCSI ranking. To address this situation, Astragraphia, in collaboration with PT Astra Graphia Information Technology (AGIT), is conducting a Competence Aid Program (CAP) in cybersecurity education for vocational high schools.

As an Astra company business line in the Information Technology pillar, Astragraphia, through its subsidiary AGIT, possesses strong competencies in various aspects of cybersecurity. At the January-February 2026 CAP, AGIT directly deployed its cybersecurity services team as keynote speakers.

The CAP material presented by the four AGIT speakers targeted Computer Network Engineering students, with the theme "Cyber Defender: The First Steps to Becoming a Digital Security Expert." The teaching method was divided into one session for theoretical presentation, followed by two sessions for laboratory practice. The AGIT team's teaching methods were adapted from real-world situations they encounter daily. This allows all CAP participants to gain a firsthand understanding of current cybersecurity issues in the world.

AGIT's active involvement in the CAP education program demonstrates its corporate social responsibility to the community and supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, which focuses on quality education.
