Astragraphia's Packaging Design Competition, Exclusive Competition for Astragraphia's Schools

Trivena Nalsalita, Director of PT Astra Graphia Tbk and King Iriawan, Director of PT Astra Graphia Tbk flank the first overall winner, second overall winner and third overall winner of Astragraphia's Packaging Design Competition.

In the fourth year of Astragraphia's guidance to vocational high schools with a Visual Communication Design skills competition, for the first time Astragraphia held Astragraphia's Packaging Design Competition which was attended by three schools assisted by Astragraphia, namely:

  • Vocational School 2 Triple “J” Citeureup, Bogor, assisted by Astragraphia Serpong Branch.
  • SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo, East Java, assisted by Astragraphia Surabaya Branch 1.
  • Muhammadiyah Vocational School 1 Kepanjen, East Java, assisted by Astragraphia Surabaya Branch 2.

 

The series of competitions, which took place from May to June 2024, closed with a peak event on Friday, July 12 2024 at the Astragraphia Head Office. Company management specifically invited three finalists from each school, along with accompanying teachers to attend the presentation of appreciation to students.

The board of directors and management were present and handed over their appreciation directly to all the winners, including Trivena Nalsalita, Director of PT Astra Graphia Tbk; King Iriawan, Director of PT Astra Graphia Tbk; Satryo Dewandono, Chief of Business Strategy & Development and Corporate Communications PT Astra Graphia Tbk; Andhita Putri Ayuni, Dept. Head of Corporate Communications PT Astra Graphia Tbk. Also present was Dony Kozara, Marketing Communication & GC Business Dept. Head and team, and Iskandar Leimena, Head of SCS Department and team to witness the proceedings.

Each winner received a certificate, scholarship, as well as a laptop, tablet and drawing pad to support learning about packaging design at school. Specifically, the overall winner will receive an additional 3-dimensional trophy, which is made using Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology.

Grand Champion:

  • General Champion I: Ardhan Reksa Arthawisesa from SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo, with his KAMIKOPI packaging work.
  • Second Overall Winner: Reza Aprijal from SMK 2 Triple "J" Citeureup, with BAKARICE packaging work.
  • General Champion III: Rizky Ilham Maulana from SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kepanjen, with NYOTO packaging work.

TOP 3 SMK 2 Triple “J”:

  • 1st place: Reza Aprijal, with BAKARICE packaging work.
  • 2nd Place: Muhamad Zaidan Fauzan with Mr. COMBRO.
  • 3rd place: Askiya Suci Widiyati with her NYONYA SPICE CHICKEN packaging work.

TOP 3 PGRI 2 Ponorogo Vocational School:

  • 1st place: Ardhan Reksa Arthawisesa with his KAMIKOPI packaging work.
  • 2nd place: Erik Luqman Najib with his HOME SATAY packaging work.
  • 3rd place: Muhammad Yofi Rizky Eka Prayogo with D'COOKIES packaging work.

  • 3rd place: Firstly Mayrafairuzz Rasya with PECELGO packaging work!

Astragraphia's Packaging Design Competition adds to the list of educational programs that Astragraphia runs as a form of social responsibility to the community in addition to the Competence Aid Program (CAP), Vocational School BISA Link & Match, and sustainable scholarships. With this competition, Astragraphia management hopes that students will continue to be encouraged to hone their skills in creative packaging design, so that it will have an impact on increasing the quality of vocational high school graduates in Indonesia.
