A subsidiary of PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) which operates in the information technology sector, PT Astra Graphia Tbk (ASGR) or Astragraphia, invites Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Semarang City to beautify their product packaging.
Through an activity entitled "Astragraphia Class for Creative Industries" or ASIK Class, Astragraphia collaborates with dozens of MSMEs in Semarang City to provide training, workshops, consultations, as well as printing experience and marketing their products to market places.
"We have traveled everywhere, from one city to another. This is the last roadshow in 2023 which coincidentally falls in the city of Semarang," explained Chief Business Operations 2 PT Astra Graphia Tbk, Mr. Agung Andriyatno.
Mr. Agung Andriyatno explained, as a public company, Astragraphia has a Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program which includes four important pillars. The four pillars are health, education, environment and entrepreneurship. This ASIK class is under the entrepreneurship pillar.
“This ASIK class is under the entrepreneurship pillar. "This program is being implemented as a form of support for MSMEs in the country to become more competitive, go online and move up in class," explained Mr. Agung Andriyatno."
Branch Manager of PT Astra Graphia Tbk Semarang, Mr. Wahyudi, explained that to boost product sales, MSME players need to present attractive product packaging with various colors, good images and quality, as well as unique shapes. Some of these elements become visual attractions that can attract consumers.
"There is a connection between physical packaging and product presentation in the marketplace or digital market. There must be good branding integration, in terms of uniformity and consistency. Astragraphia regularly provides training to MSME players to achieve uniformity and consistency of physical packaging with product presentation in the marketplace," explained Mr Wahyudi.
